I ordered XIV. Should be about a week or so before I can install, though. |

Yay, Midget!
You should have sent me a /tell though, the friend list is a bit different than in ffxi - it's really for your own use and I didn't get any notice when you "friended" me. It will let you see when I'm online though. |

He didn't post it here, but Erock has joined us on Excalibur as well. _________________ "People really don’t like to hear success explained away as luck — especially successful people. Myself, I didn't have any problems with anything when I started in Jan but I'm not sure that says much so I'll let someone else field that question. 2.0 isn't coming in November, its not even in Alpha at the moment. Would need to reactivate before the 29th since after that re/activating will be locked. _________________ Spring is for hibernation, summer is for sleeping, and autumn is for napping, thus winter is for play. |

I did, and have been playing with the config to figure out the best settings for my rigs. Reactivated my 15 lancer and I already see the differences with the jobs and things. I already miss my shock spikes.
Anyone have a lowbie friendly guild or can point me at one. I'm going to get tired quick if i keep playing by myself. |

Just got this in my mailbox:
Beta Testing
FFXIV: ARR is currently in the beta testing stage, with plans to begin the third phase of testing on June 14, 2013. All players who hold a service account from Version 1.0 have been granted access to the beta test.
We welcome all players from Version 1.0 to download the beta client and see the myriad changes in FFXIV: ARR.
* Additional information regarding how to participate in the beta test will be sent at a later date.
Transitioning to FFXIV: ARR from Version 1.0
For those interested in playing FFXIV: ARR, information regarding the transition from Version 1.0, including the establishment of regional data centers, has been compiled on the Lodestone.
Please review the details of the new regional data centers and world transfers. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/62271
Furthermore, a two week "Welcome Back Campaign" will be held following the start of official service, allowing players from Version 1.0 to enjoy FFXIV: ARR free of charge for a limited time. We hope you will take this opportunity to play the game and experience FFXIV: ARR. |
