Every time I try to access the board from my home's network, it redirects me to Blackinternet.se. Anyone else had this problem and knows how to fix it? |

Maybe if you go to blackinternet.se, it will redirect you to blueelephantbrigade.com? Maybe it's our evil (or good?) twin? _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

There are a few reasons why this might happen. Might want to do a tracert and see what's happening.
Open up a CMD prompt. Should be under Start Menu->Programs->Accessories
Type in:
tracert forums.blueelephantbrigade.com
Should look something like this:
Code: | C:\>tracert forums.blueelephantbrigade.com
Tracing route to forums.blueelephantbrigade.com [216.97.232.225]
over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 63 ms 81 ms 66 ms
2 13 ms 13 ms 13 ms peer-02-ge-1-0-0.lsag.twtelecom.net [66.192.241.
218]
3 18 ms 18 ms 17 ms unknown.xeex.net [216.151.129.62]
4 18 ms 18 ms 19 ms lwdc.dbo2.po115.americanis.net [216.240.180.214]
5 19 ms 18 ms 18 ms lwdc.dbo2.gi9-3.host1.23680.americanis.net [216.
105.42.6]
6 20 ms 19 ms 19 ms fomax.lunarpages.com [216.97.232.225]
Trace complete. |
Also you can try:
nslookup forums.blueelephantbrigade.com
From the command line and see what that gives you. |

After virus/malware scanning, you can check your hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc. File has no extension, so it's just hosts). Edit it in a text editor. An unedited hosts file will look like this:
Code: | # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 localhost
|
If you have more below the lines that start with #, remove them and put the 127.0.0.1[tab]localhost and save. Anything after the # sign on that line is hidden and is not used in DNS resolution. _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

Perhaps the internet was desegregated? _________________ Core meltdown (commonly known as a meltdown) is an accident scenario in nuclear reactors, and is one of the possible modes of failure for light water reactors, during which the reactor pile turns into a pile of reactor.

Does that site have anything to do with Black Spring Break?
